Tyler Sexson

I love playing piano and writing music, and I believe the most important part of taking lessons is developing a genuine passion for it. I work hard to make every lesson both fun and engaging.

As a performer, I have experience in classical, jazz, and pop, so I focus on teaching my students a diverse range of musical styles. I hold a master's in composition and have written music for soloists, chamber ensembles, and orchestras, which is why songwriting, music theory, and composition are also a big focus in my lessons.

When I took lessons as a kid, the mentors I had along the way shaped both my work ethic and my appreciation for music. I look forward to being that same kind of mentor for the next generation of music lovers.
