One of the most magical moments of my career was singing alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda at Disneyland's Candlelight Processional. I've also performed roles like Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and Papagena in The Magic Flute, and took part in the Dutch National Opera's Opera Forward Festival.
While I love performing, most of my days are spent helping kids find their voices, step into their own performance careers, or just connect with music on an emotional level.
I believe voice is the most vulnerable instrument, which is exactly why it's such a great confidence-building tool.
I structure lessons around what your child wants to learn. Bring in "Golden" by Harry Styles or a classical aria, and we'll work on it together. Whether your kid is exploring voice for fun, prepping for auditions, or building public speaking skills, I bring the technique and support to help them achieve their goals.
My years as an elementary school music teacher taught me how to make even technical concepts feel approachable and fun for young beginners. But I'm just as comfortable with older students and competitive singers refining their technique for auditions or conservatory prep.
I hold a Master of Music in Classical Voice from the Prince Claus Conservatoire in the Netherlands and a bachelor's degree from Chapman University.
