I'm a lifelong musician. I started out playing along with music by ear on a keyboard at 6 years old, and I honed my abilities throughout my childhood, writing music and playing in local bands, before earning my bachelor's degree in music composition in 2014.
My Approach
Since becoming a musician, I've taught thousands of private lessons and built systems of progress for each instrument I specialize in. I've been playing piano, guitar, and alto saxophone for over 20 years, and bass guitar and drums for over 10. I specialize in theory and the physical application of musical technique, and I love the moments when a new concept clicks for a student, bringing them to a new level of understanding and musicianship.
