Hi, I'm Katryna!
I fell in love with jazz at 17, after spending my formative years studying classical piano, cello, and opera. I later earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of Montreal, followed by a Master of Arts in Production from Berklee College of Music.
I've since performed across Europe with a jazz big band, and was invited to attend LAAMP, an LA-based mentorship program led by Grammy-winning producers Stargate, where I later returned as a mentor.
My Approach
As a teacher, I offer lessons in piano, voice, songwriting, and music production, tailoring each lesson to my students' skills and interests to keep learning effective and fun. My background across classical, jazz, and pop music means I'm well-equipped to teach a wide range of genres and techniques, and I love helping students build confidence and discover their own voice as artists.
