Hi, I'm Christina!
I've been studying piano for over fifteen years and teaching piano and voice for nearly as long.
I started with classical training under acclaimed pianist Linda Gleichman, before becoming a principal keyboardist and harmony vocalist for one of the country's largest megachurches. This foundation has taught me both technical skills and given me the chance to consistently perform for large audiences.
After relocating to New York, I founded an indie rock band that built a cult following; as frontwoman and keyboardist, I co-produced four albums that charted on college radio, earned praise from Spin, Magnet, and Billboard, and toured alongside Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Kate Nash, and Lucius
My Approach
Lessons with me are built around the student in front of me. A lesson might cover technique and musicianship, songwriting, live performance, music production, or navigating the music business, depending on what your child wants to explore. My background across classical training, church performance, indie rock, and the industry means whatever direction a student wants to grow, I've likely been there myself.
